(P) Jerry has matured slightly while being at the rocky bay.

(C)

(Q) "'Mummy,' he said".

(E) Jerry seems to have matured slightly after training himself during his time at the

rocky beach, but he hasn't matured all that much as when he goes home to the villa, he

still says to his mother "Mummy." Which shows he's still just a little boy.

(P) Good example of a simile.

(C)

(Q) "He can swim like a fish."

(E) His mother compares her son to a fish. She has seen him swimming before and thinks that he's like a fish. However she has not been aware of how Jerry's swimming has come along recently, while he's been training himself to hold his breath and so on.
